These are classed as Advanced or Specialist masters programmes. Advanced MSc programmes need bachelors degree in the same (or closely related) subject, and take you studies to the next level in that discipline. Specialist MSc programmes are designed to accepts a broader range of academic backgrounds, and provide a combination of both fundamental topics and specialist courses to provide students with everything they need to enter and excel in a new discipline.
