The Communication Systems and Electronics degree combines a thorough understanding of communications theory and applications, together with the necessary electronic engineering content required to understand the design of components, and design and implementation of communication systems. This is an excellent preparation for a versatile career, in which graduates may wish to change direction during their working life because of the changing requirements of the communications industry, advances in technology or their own advancement and promotion.
Recognising the great breadth of careers in the communications industry, all our degrees at Lancaster are based on a firm grounding of fundamental principles, before beginning to concentrate more closely on the specialist area of the student's choice.
